The Great Give Away
SCVYS has launched a Grant Panel controlled by young members from numerous organisations. The team of younggrantgivers have £10,000 to give away to numerous youth organisations. The money is accessible to all SCVYS members who require funding for projects that will develop and benefit young people.
The Criteria to apply for this grant are:-
1. The project must be subsidized by the group
2. Young people must benefit from the grant allocation.
3. You must have clear objectives for your application.
4. Your application must have clear timescales and include details of how money will be spent.
5. You must include group membership details.
6. Your application must detail the long term benefits to young people and include a clear evaluation strategy.
7. You can apply for any amount up to the £10,000 maximum.
8. If members of the group are under 18 the application must be counter-signed by an adult.
9. You must indicate how many of your group will benefit from the grant. 10. 60% of the young people must be aged between 13 and 19 age range.
11. The group must be based in the Staffordshire area.
12. Groups applying for this grant must be a member of Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services (SCVYS).
