Phil Phil Pusey - Chief Executive

Phil has been involved in youth work for almost 30 years both in a voluntary and paid capacity.  Having spent several years as a Trustee of SCVYS, the recent opportunity to apply for the Chief Exec role was too exciting to ignore.  Phil’s role is largely strategic, meeting with various partner and stakeholder groups, reporting to the Board of Trustees, and representing and advocating for the voluntary youth sector wherever possible.
Phil enjoys playing and watching sport, and spending quality time with family and friends.

Les Les Simmons - Operations Manager

Les has worked in Youth Services for the past 27 years as a volunteer, Youth Worker and recently as Personal and Social Development Manager for Connexions Staffordshire.  His role is to ensure that SCVYS operates smoothly and efficiently on behalf of its members and any contracts undertaken.
‘I look forward to freeing myself from the desk and coming out to see members, getting to know what you want from your membership and helping to make SCVYS an organisation that you will be even more proud to be a member of’

Debbie Debbie Mason - Office Manager

Debbie has worked for SCVYS since January 2010 and has been in charge of the day to day running of the office. Prior to this Debbie has worked for a record company, conveyancing and also helps to run the family business and small holding.

Claire will be the ‘Community, Youth and Volunteer Worker’ supporting those groups within the Newcastle and Moorlands District.

Jane Jane Reynolds - Community Youth and Volunteer Worker

Jane has worked in the voluntary sector for the past 10 years, she previously worked for Mencap Pathway Education & Employment Service, where she co-ordinated several projects, progressing people with learning difficulties into paid employment and training. Jane moved to SCVYS in June 2008, as a Youth Volunteer Advisor with the vinvolved project covering the Chase & South Staffs districts. In her new role she will be covering the Chase & Lichfield districts.

She worked For Connexions Staffordshire for two years and has worked for Staffordshire Council of Voluntary Youth Services for three years as a Youth Volunteer Adviser. In her new role as CommunityYouth and Volunteer Worker she will be supporting vountary youth organisations in the Tamworth and East Staffs area.

Lisa Lisa Corbett - Community and Youth Volunteer Adviser

Lisa has worked in and around Wolverhampton both for the City Council and in the voluntary sector for the past 20 years or so.  She is a trained youth and community worker, with a wealth of experience of supporting groups of adults and young people at the local neighbourhood level.   Partnership working is a particular interest of hers as is encouraging young people to become engaged in local democratic structures.  She is looking forward to meeting the existing groups in the Stafford and South Staffs areas and making links with new and emerging youth groups.
